How to Please God
All God requires of us isn't complicated...Simply do three things:
~ Act in a just, fair way towards others. Treat them the way you want to be treated.
~ Don’t just show mercy, but LOVE to show it. Give others the same measure of mercy you want to receive from God.
~ Remember who God is – your God. If you keep that in mind, you'll walk humbly before Him. (Don't TRY to be humble, but BE humble!)
And lastly let me add...You can't do these three things in your own power...You don't have the mental, physical or spiritual capacity to do so. It's only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and His Spirit dwelling within you that you can BE what God wants you to be and DO what God expects you to do! "If you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you WILL be saved!" (Romans 10:9)...Then and only then can you truly please God!
