Please visit Ricki McCallum's new webpage and by all means pick up one of her books! I just finished this book on downsizing your home...So well-written and so detailed from start to finish about how to go about downsizing or even changing homes when the need arises.
Her personal stories, her faith and reflections from her former clients and associates really presents a thorough and compassionate plan for accomplishing what so many dread. She gives practical advice from the heart about things you may have to give up when you move and her REAL and candid advice come as one who was making the move herself!
Her advice regarding finding an Agent or Realtor is invaluable and her financial suggestions about who to consult for the various loans that may be involved are very helpful! Where to buy, what to buy and how to sell your present home are examined as they are the most important aspects of beginning a move or downsizing.
Ricki's book is a great resource for those considering making a home change of any kind but her poignant appeals and advice for those especially older people who NEED to downsize is very professional and compassionate! Pick up a copy for yourself and for anyone you know who may be facing a downsizing adventure!
