Although there are others...Noah, Abraham, Moses and David have always been my favorite OT heroes of the faith...not because of their stellar actions always, (because they ALL failed in that regard), but because they loved and cared for the people God left in their charge!
Did Moses whine when God showed him the Promised Land, that because of his sin before the people he would never be allowed to enter? No, he simply asked God to find a suitable replacement who would love and care for his people as much as he did...
That's Godly leadership!
