There will much said about our military veterans to day and I want to say Thank you to ALL veterans who served during our country's times of war and to the families of those who sacrificed so much for the cause of freedom! This country, indeed the world, owes them a debt of gratitude it can never repay!
But I was also reminded this morning about the great multitude of men and women who served in many non-combatant way to support the war effort, including a wide range of volunteer efforts in the factories, on the farms and ranches and in many other industrial fields. ALL submitted to government-managed rationing and price controls and many left their homes to serve in other states where equipment was being produced so that maximum effort could be appropriated to those in the field!
My hat comes off and my gracious appreciation goes out to ALL of those whose patriotic duty was fulfilled as they supported our combatant troops on foreign fields!...We love and appreciate ALL who served in ANY capacity! God Bless you and your families and God Bless the USA!!! 🤩🌺😍❤
