Lord…would you reveal Yourself to each one of them in a way unique only to them so that they will know and be assured that You and You alone are speaking to them?...In a sparrows song, in a whisper in the wind or in the gentle voice of a friend…Let them hear You and know You are near.
Would You mend their hearts, solve their problems, bear their burdens and give each of them a calm assurance that You are intimately involved with each of them in whatever situation they find themselves?
Would You let them know that there’s no greater love than what You’ve shown to each of us and that as high and as wide and as deep as we can imagine, You are there…to comfort, console and walk alongside us on this journey we call life?
And now Lord would you give each of them peace of mind, joy in Spirit and confidence in the future as they go off to bed tonight? I thank You God for Who You are and for hearing my humble prayer…because I ask it in the sweet and merciful name of Jesus… Amen
