The nations will worship before You...
We turn on the TV, read in the newspaper or see on social media every day the trouble, confusion and overall decay our country (indeed our world) is in and we wonder if it will ever get any better. Will society, cultures, nations and people groups who are controlled by the 'prince of the power of the air' in which we live, move and have our being, ever recognize that this planet has a sin problem and that sin problem has alienated us from the only true source of peace, serenity and true happiness? I'm sorry to say it but the world by and large is not, will not and cannot get any better until He whose right it is to reign sovereignly over it returns.
The Psalmist knew and understood that man without God is incapable of governing himself and anticipated a grand and glorious day when the Lord Jesus Christ would return and assume his rightful place on the throne of God's creation!
Man, and every living thing in creation, will one day remember and worship before the King of kings and Lord of Lords! It will be a time when 'the cow and the bear will eat side by side and their young ones will lie down together...and the lion will eat straw like an ox...and a baby will play on the hole of an asp...and the small child will put its hand in the snake's den"...A time when the animal kingdom and all of God's creation will once again live in peaceful harmony. It will be a time when "the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea." (Isaiah 11:9b)
